In October of 1975, the Bay City Rollers invited 16 Magazine to its first (of many) exclusive photo sessions. Photos of this session appeared in several 1975 and 1976 issues.
This amazing lot contains 8 original 2 1/4 color chromes from that particular photo shoot, featuring Derek Longmuir in varying attire and with varying colored backdrops.
Please note that all chromes in this lot do include full transfer of ownership rights. The winning buyer of this lot will, upon full payment and clearing of funds, receive a legally binding agreement from - and signed by - the current owner of the materials as offered in this lot, granting the new owner full title and complete ownership rights. For more information about (the content of) this agreement and ownership rights, please contact Backstage Auctions, Inc.
A chrome is a positive transparency, designed to be viewed when lit from behind. 2 1/4 inch film, which is a medium format film is almost exclusively used for commercial still photography.
The chromes featured in this auction lot are generally in excellent condition. They have been preserved in a climate controlled environment and were stored in plastic pocket sleeves. Also note that the chromes as seen in this lot have, for the purpose of this auction, been photographed from an illuminated light box, which creates a slight blurriness and graining. In actuality, these chromes are of significant higher quality and clarity. |
