The summer of 1979 and Duncan Faure, Alan Longmuir and Stuart 'Woody' Wood paid a visit to New York's 'Radio Magazine of the Air' with Chet Gould radio show to introduce their newest band member (Duncan) and talk about the new album 'Elevator'. 16 Magazine accompanied the threesome on this visit, which resulted in this set of 27 never-before-seen negatives, complete with a matching (and original) contact sheet.

The negatives featured in this auction lot are generally in excellent condition. They have been preserved in a climate controlled environment and were stored in their original acid-free pocket envelops. Also note that the negatives as seen in this lot have, for the purpose of this auction, been photographed from an illuminated light box, which creates a slight blurriness and graining. In actuality, these negatives are of significant higher quality and clarity. |
