16 Magazine escorted the Bay City Rollers in 1978 to the taping of an appearance on the infamous 'Wonderama' TV show, which aired on WNEW-TV in New York. This overwhelming lot contains no less than 160 exceptional black & white negatives, showing the Rollers during their rehearsal, as well as performing a blistering performance in front of a wild and excitable crowd. The negatives come complete with 5 original contact sheets.

The negatives featured in this auction lot are generally in excellent condition. They have been preserved in a climate controlled environment and were stored in their original acid-free pocket envelops. Also note that the negatives as seen in this lot have, for the purpose of this auction, been photographed from an illuminated light box, which creates a slight blurriness and graining. In actuality, these negatives are of significant higher quality and clarity. |
