BAY CITY ROLLERS 1976 ATLANTA VISIT 264 NEGATIVES W/ RIGHTS

SKU # RND1111
Category: Bay City Rollers
Type of Collectible:  Photos, Prints & Negatives
Decade:  The 70s
Price $675.00

During their 1976 promotional U.S. tour, the Bay City Rollers paid a visit to Atlanta. Exclusive for the readers of 16 Magazine, photographer Danny Fields documented this one-day trip, which shows the Rollers arriving at the Atlanta airport, making a sensational stop at the infamous 'Peaches' and Franklin's record stores, doing a 'Meet & Greet' with fans hosted by WQXI Radio and departing from the same airport the following day. Featured in this spectacular collection are 8 original contact sheets and an overwhelming number of 264 impressive black & white negatives.

Please note that all 35 millimeter black & white negatives in this lot do include full transfer of ownership rights. The winning buyer of this lot will, upon full payment and clearing of funds, receive a legally binding agreement from - and signed by - the current owner of the materials as offered in this lot, granting the new owner full title and complete ownership rights. For more information about (the content of) this agreement and ownership rights, please contact Backstage Auctions, Inc.

The negatives featured in this auction lot are generally in excellent condition. They have been preserved in a climate controlled environment and were stored in their original acid-free pocket envelops. Also note that the negatives as seen in this lot have, for the purpose of this auction, been photographed from an illuminated light box, which creates a slight blurriness and graining. In actuality, these negatives are of significant higher quality and clarity.
